How to make iTunes links to your content in the apple store – music, books and more
For anyone who has published their e-books on the iBookstore, music through iTunes or uploaded an app to the apple store through iTunes Connect, you will likely have found that it’s not immediately obvious what URL you can use to link to your products. When you click on a link it will usually open in the iTunes store, but that’s not ideal when linking from articles and content online.
If you want to make it easy to link to your products from your website or from an e-book or app – then what you need is the apple link maker. It’s free and really easy to use, but I only discovered it by accident. It’s definitely a tool more people (authors especially!) should know about to help promote their books and apps that are available through apple.
Once you’ve clicked on the link above to the tool, then you’ll want to find your product in the store you’re linking to.
Then you’ll want to decide what type of link is best to use. You can either use the direct link URL to link anything you like to your product, or use the plain text links or nice looking button links and just paste in the provided HTML where you want the button to appear on your site.
