There are a number of steps you need to take to get your app idea from thought to finished product. It’s relatively easy to create an app, but you don’t want just any old app. You want a GOOD app. The kind that people will buy, and then rave about so that all their friends buy it too.
How do you go about designing a really GOOD app? Well, app creator Jen Gordon has written an article for Smashing Magazine that sums it up nicely. We’ll expand on the different areas in future posts – but for now this is an excellent overview and a good place for you to start. She does have two step 11’s, but we’re willing to forgive that tiny detail since step 11 is really something that’s going to be in play the entire way through the process!
READ THE ARTICLE and then tell us which of those specific areas mentioned that you’d like us to expand on first!
Especially useful for many people is the link to a sample non-disclosure agreement. Things in the app development world move fast, so make sure you customize this kind of agreement to suit your needs, and get people your getting quotes from to sign it. You want to keep your ideas protected.
