We’ve partnered up with SCBWI ’s west coast chapter to run a manuscript review event.
Here’s the scoop:
Manuscript Idol
Thursday February 12 2009, 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.
*we’ll be meeting at the Starbucks beside the entrance from 5:45-6:00
The editor likes your query letter—but now what? You want to give your manuscript a dry run before you send it off to the editor and publisher of your choice. See how far you may get with your manuscript when Crystal Stranaghan and Jared Hunt read the opening pages of your manuscript. And learn why you get that far so that you can fix up your manuscript before you make that first impression on the publisher of your choice. Manuscripts will be read anonymously by an editor within an intimate group setting.
Cost: $20 for SCBWI members $22 for non-members Limited to 15 participants
